Sonntag, 12. Dezember 2004, 22:40

Hi :)

Ive been thinking about a H2O setup for some months now but ive decided to really go do it :) (since my current setup is just ay to noisy  :-/ )

I will buy these things now and the other later.
----

Reservoir            :  Ausgleichsbehälter aquatube Rev. 1.1 blau + aquabay at Rev. 1.5               67.98

1.
gerade = unbowed

gewinkelt = bowed

Plug and Cool (PnC) is the connection-system used by AC.

2. Yes, the Aquastream is absolutely sufficient.

3. Yes, the Radiator is enough, too. You even can run the fans at 5 or 7 Volt.

5. maybe some angles

in some corners you really might need 'em.
and I'd advise ACFluid (against the corrosion)

with my really bad german i didn't really understand on how to add h2o or anything else in to your setup.. since your reservoir in an 5.25 inch bay.

Or is this thing your second reservoir ?
Ausgleichsbehälter aquainlet für aquastream und Eheim 1046/1048 aus Aluminium Wich is easyer to fill ?

And how the hell do you let the water out than ?

you can let the water out, by installing a t-connector at the lowest position in your system. ad some hose and a closing-connector.
install wether a second t-connector and closing-connector at the top or just open your aquatube if its at the highest point in your pc.

Lay the PC on its back in order to fill the water in

I think a good question was asked. How many blocks can a 240 cool effectively. And how many blocks can a single Aquastream handle?

@ Shoggy:

My personal favorite translation is "Gift." In German it is poison but in English it is a "geschenk" or "present" I'd rather have an English Gift than a German Gift! ;D

I would say thet the 240 would effectively cool ALOT of blocks. I recently fitted a dual processor system with AC kit I.e gpu/ 2 cpu/ mobo/ hdd +psu all cooled with good temps and this is all run off one aquastream 8)

**Ausgleichsbehälter aquatube Rev. 1.1 blau
**Einbaublende Aluminium schwarz eloxiert für den aquatube
**Einbaublende Aluminium silber eloxiert für den aquatube
**aquabay at (Einbaurahmen für die Laufwerksschächte) Rev. 1.5

Pump
**Aquastream Pumpe 12 V

radiator
**airplex evo 240

**Papst 4412 F/2GL
**Papst 4412 F/2GL

misc
**Arctic Silver 5 Premium High-Density Silver Thermal Compound
**ACfluid - farbloser Korrosionsschutz
**ACfluid - farbloser Korrosionsschutz
**Kugelhahn plug&cool Metall
**T-Verbinder plug&cool Metall

This comes down to about EUR 313.92

NOw ofcours there is still some stuff missings like tubing so ive got some questions left :)
-How many meter tubing is required ?
-What kinda plugs do i have to take for the aquatube/rad ? (plug&cool gerade/gewinkelt)
-What kinda plugs does the pump needs? (You have to buy that seperatly)
-How many extra bowed plugs schoul i take ? (or straight?)

Lay-out how i will be doing it :)

I will modify my the upper panel from my case (cm stacker) to something like http://www.aquamods.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk…lianradtube.jpg
The other aquatube will be put in to the aquabay, along with the aquastream than to the parts that need to be cooled :)
Is this a good setup : rad -> reservoir -> reservoir -> pump -> cpu -> ... -> ... -> reservoir ?
(the ... are future components)

Greetings Anon5710
