Stimmt, bin auch zu faul im Silmarillion nachzuschlagen. Die Namen merkt sich doch kein Mensch :)

Der Vater von Legolas ist König Thranduil und Smaug wurde von Bard mit einem Pfeil getötet.

Komm nicht drauf, was alle Ringe der Macht gemeinsam haben sollen.

Als etwas verspätette Antwort auf meine Frage was Sauron zu Morgoth Zeiten war. Er war der Stadthalter von Angband einer der Festen von Morgoth, und später ,nach seiner Rückkehr sein Hauptsitz.

M.E. sind die Ringe aneinander gebunden. Wird der Eine vernichtet, verblassen auch die anderen.

Eigentlich gehört der Eine doch auch zu den Großen Ringen, und da fällt mir nur ein, dass alle die Kraft haben jedes Volk zu leiten.

Das stimmt nicht ganz...
Die Lösung ist recht trivial:

Alle Ringe sind an den einen gebunden und ihm "unterlegen".
Deswegen wird er auch der Meisterring genannt. Die Eigenschaft ein Volk zu führen passt selbstverständlich ebenfalls.

Btw. Aragorn wurde zu früheren Zeiten Thorongil in Gondor genannt, als er auf seinen langen Reisen war. Zu der Zeit führte er für Gondor auch einen Überraschungsangriff auf die Korsaren von Umbar. Doch anstatt nach Minas Tirith zurückzukehren und geehrt zu werden zog er sich wieder zurück...

Nächste Frage:
An welche Werke von welchem Komponisten ist der Soundtrack der beiden Filme angelehnt?
