Partition als EISA konfiguriert

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin neuerdings stolzer Besitzer eines ACER Travelmate 5720 Laptops (c2d, 2gig Ram, etc.)

Nun hab ich in der vorinstalierten Win Vista Home Premium eine "versteckte" Partition von 9,7GB gefunden die zwar fehlerfrei ist aber im EISA Modus konfiguriert ist.

Nun meine Frage: Was ist das für eine Partition? Was it das für ein Betriebsmodus? Kann ich diese Partition einfach löschen um dann Win XP drüber zu installieren?

Ist die Recovery Partition die du evtl. für eine Neuinstallation des System brauchst. Bei meinem Asus konnte ich das aber auch ohne Partition neuninstallieren.

Tja das hab ich mich auch gefragt. Aber so steht es bei Win Vista in der Datenträgerverwaltung...

na ja Acer halt

Vielleicht hast du dir da einen Ladenhüter andrehen lassen, mein Acer hat zumindest PCI

Jaja, lang ist's her.
Das hat sich aber ebensowenig durchgesetzt wie Microchannel.
