firefox einstellungen - lahm wg peerguardian

mahlzeit!

wenn ich mit windows peerguardian nutze, lähmt der seitenaufbau beim firefox zT ziemlich. wahrscheinlich ist das so, weil er auf antworten von (geblockten) ad-servern usw. wartet (richtig?)

kann man das nicht irgendwie schlau einstellen?

In der FAQ steht ja

Betrifft das nur Fx oder macht sich das auch anderweitig bemerkbar?

Firefox hat ja einige Netzwerk-Einstellungen, vielleicht kannst du da ja was drehen. Evtl. reicht es ja auch schon, Timeout-Zeiten stark zu reduzieren.

so'n doofen patch von irgendeiner page

zieh ich mir nicht rein - dafür ist das prob echt nicht störend genug (und es gibt ja auch noch die allow http-option bei pg).

welche parameter beim ff sind das, die ich ändern sollte?
ich steig da in about:config nicht durch.
