Wobei es wohl irgendwie dasselbe zu sein scheint.

Es ist damit tatsächlich möglich in ca. 20 Länder kostenfrei zu telefonieren. Wurde schon erfolgreich von den USA (Voipbuster) nach Deutschland (Festnetz) getestet. Keine PRobleme- und umsonst.
Kleiner Nachteil, man muss sein Konto aufladen, damit man länger als eine Minute telefonieren kann. Damals war es noch 1 Euro, heute sind es glaube ich 5Euro. Brauchen tut man das Guthaben nicht, es sei denn, mann ruft z.B. auf dem Handynetz an, dann wird es nämlich sehr wohl kostenpflichtig...

Erstmals ist das quelloffene DTP-Programm Scribus, das bisher Linux-, BSD- und MacOS-Anwendern vorenthalten blieb, auch für Windows verfügbar.

Da sich einige mit XAMPP schwer tun: Der YellowTip Web Server soll da einfacher zu handhaben sein.

Für vieles reichen PHP 4 und MySQL 4.0 locker aus, insbesondere zum lokalen Entwickeln einfacher Websites.

In Punkto Sicherheit halte ich aber von solchen Komplettpaketen gar nichts, da sollte man für einen Server auf jeden Fall auf den Paketmanager der Distribution zurückgreifen - dann bekommt man auch schnell und einfach Updates eingepflegt.

Foxit Reader ist ein freier pdf-Betrachter
Vorteile
- schnell (so schnell wie man eine textdatei öffnet)
- keine Installation benötigt (einzelne .exe-Datei)
Gute work-live-balance ist, wenn man von seinem Privatleben erschöpfter ist als von der Arbeit.
