Morgenl und einen gutes neues Jahr !!!

Hab hier ein mittelgroßes Problem mit dem Laptop meiner Freundin,

Sie hat folgende konfiguration

1te Platte Linux
2te Platte XP / Vista

Laptop bootet -> Grub Auswahl des Bs Linux oder "anderes Betriebssystem"

Bei Auswahl von anderes Bs gelangt man zum Microsoft bootmanager der dann eine Ausahl zwischen XP und Vista erlaubt!

So nun zu meinen kleinen problem, wenn ich die auswahl anderes Bs booten treffe ,geschieht folgendes , grub gibt diesen fehler

"Error 11: Unrecognised device string
Press any key to continue "

aus und schmeißt mich zurück zur Bs auswahl!

ich vermute das grub nicht der schuldige ist sondern einfach nur den Fehler ausgibt und das es eher an Windows selbst oder besser gesagt am bootmanager von Windows liegt !

Falls mir hier einer weiterhelfen könnte, wär genial dann ist das neue Jahr schon gerettet !!

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen das es daran liegt das Windows nicht auf c: liegt, da ja die Fehlermeldung noch von grub kommt und nicht von Windows !

ich glaub eher daß das Filesystem auf der Plate einen Schuss weg hat!

Hab die Platte mal in meinen Win PC gebaut und mir das ding mal mit Partition Magic angeschaut, das auch gleich gemerkt hat das wohl etwas mit der grösse der Zuordnundseinheiten nicht passt!
Wobei ich für Partiion Magic auch nicht meine Hand ins Feuer legen würde!
