Can I mix these watter addictives ?

Donnerstag, 5. September 2002, 16:52

Hello there.

I am soon going to order my watercoolingsetup, and therefore need to know wich watter addictives that I can mix, and wich I cant.

I will use Disstilled water with "innovaprotect" and UV-glowMo as color.

Will this work ?

I can ask it, in a different way...

Wich addictives sould I use, so that i will prevent korrision and still have the nice ultra violet color ?

Is the disstilled water enough to prevent korrision ?

Hope you can help...I know that these questions have been asked before but........your answers have been in German and German isnt exactly my maincourse lanquage :)

oohh.....one more..

How much "antikorrisions middel" should I use ?

you need: distilled water+some kind of anti-corrision add.
you can use any of the available color adds, especially the ones AC offers should be well tested and wont cause a china-syndrom in your pc ;)

edith wants to say something:
some people here dont like i***protect in their all nice and shiny AC-watercooling system though, therefore they use a anti-frost-car-add, called G11 by volkswagen, which has a small amount of anti-corrision in it; im not sure about hte availability outside of germany.

Hi and welcome :)

Distilled water is NOT enough to prevent corrosion.

Normally you have to take 80% distilled water, 20% G11 or G12 (some kind of corrosion-protection, originally from Volkswagen, also known as BASF GLYSANTIN or something like this) and just a little bit of GlowMotion.

There will be a colorless protection soon from aqua-computer, but it´s not available now.
