It depends on your system wich pump to take... for most systems (including CPU, northbridge, graphicscard, radiator, and HDD-Coolers) the 1046 is more than enough. if you got something bigger or a CPU cooler with microstructures, take a 1048 or a 1250... everything else is overkill

for a baby like this I would recommend a 1250 - it actually hase one - (the water passes all four tubes on the edges) more pix @

I don't know anything about the power of the 12Volt version of the 1046 but I haven't heard anything negative about it neither. I think it might be a good solution in your case since the 110 Volt in the US. But: the 12V version is
only running when your PC is on and therefore filling the system might be a bit tricky :
