i know i cant get a pump from germany because we in the USA are on 120v, but what pump would your recomend, 1046, 1048, or the 1250? i found a 1046 with a 12v connector but im afraid this wont be enoght power, i want whatever will make things run cooler, and is better.

Hi and welcome to the forum! :)

It depends on your system wich pump to take... for most systems  (including CPU, northbridge, graphicscard, radiator, and HDD-Coolers) the 1046 is more than enough. if you got something bigger or a CPU cooler with microstructures, take a 1048 or a 1250... everything else is overkill ;)
for a baby like this I would recommend a 1250 - it actually hase one - (the water passes all four tubes on the edges) more pix @ HardOCP

I don't know anything about the power of the 12Volt version of the 1046 but I haven't heard anything negative about it neither. I think it might be a good solution in your case since the 110 Volt in the US. But: the 12V version is only running when your PC is on and therefore filling the system might be a bit tricky  ::)

Hope I could help

PS: if there are any mistakes in my posting, would you mind to correct 'em? I hardly get any practice in english but reading and movies... thx   :D

hi gerald,

under "normal circumstances" the 1046 runs pretty well with sufficent water current. the 1046 is even a bit more quiet compared to the 1048.
if you intend using a large external radiator, you may consider using the 1048. the 1250 is overkill, and a higher flow rate does not necessarily mean better cooling.
