Flow sensor High Flow stopped working

Samstag, 10. Dezember 2011, 13:05

Hi all,

I just noticed the little red light on my pump XT Ultra

and then opened the Aquasuite 4.72. Flow sensor seems dead. 0.0 l/h.

This happened without me changing anything at all. Water is of course flowing, and everything is working fine. I tried resetting the setting on the pump, disconnecting/connecting the sensor etc.

Nothing. It stays to 0.0 forever...

Anyone had this before?

This also happened to me several weeks ago. I reset the A5 XT to the factory defaults and all was well. I have no idea what caused it nor has it happened since. NOTE: I do not have the XT Ultra pump.

I connected it now to the aquaero 5 LT that I have. In the flow port. It also says 0.0 l/h.

I don't understand how this could happen? I mean OK I have it for 6 months but I would assume that It should last more :) That thing ain't cheap too..

I will wait for some Shoggy answer. If there is anyone who knows what could be wrong its him.. I hope I don't have to RMA the thing because in the spot it is now I will have to dismantle a large part of my loop to get it out..
