I have an Aquastream XT, 90% of the time, when it starts the fan output is dead. I have to shut the computer down and switch back on before it will work.
It has Firmware 1017 and Bootloader 103, Hardware 105.
I have read that there is a firmware problem, has it ever been fixed?
You only had to click on the Link next to the Aquasuite Screen Thumb Pic (It's the first one you come to, dated 2012-07-24).... Not sure if the link below will work for you, It works for me. But if it doesn't work just go to the first link I put up & click on the underlined aquasuite 2012 BETA 15 x86/X64, (4.163,8 kB) .. Anyway you got two choices now ... I would reccommend saving the file to your PC in a place you can find it again in the future..
I read the page you linked but could not find the 1025 firmware, my German is a little rusty (non existent ) so I may have missed it.
Do you have a direct link?
thanks
Lee
It is not just the firmware but the actual whole software you need to download and install, the firmware is in the package and will prompt you to update when you run it. Before you do make sure you make a note of any profiles, settings and naming you may have as you will need to create new profiles.
This is all wrong. 1017 is the current firmware for the pump. The mentioned 1025 is for the aquaero 5.
The described problem is caused by your PSU. When the pump starts up and the there are small ripple in the voltage supply it will cause the pumps internal CPU to set a wrong flag for the fan output since it thinks it is overloaded. When you disconnect the pump from the PSU for two seconds while the PC is running, and then plug it in back, I am very sure that almost all the time the fan will work.
We offer a small adapter plug which can be placed between the connector of the pump and the CPU. It uses a capacitor and buffers the power supply so this problem should be gone. Write us an e-mail or send me a private message with your full postal address and we can send you this adapter.
