Aquasuite control of AC D5+USB pumps

Sonntag, 2. Dezember 2012, 09:02

I have an AE5 controlling most everything in my rig - works great. I have a bank of 6 PWM fans on Fan 4 and the chassis fans on Fan 1.

I replaced the two D5 pumps I had on Fan 2 and Fan 3 with the new D5 USB+aquabus pumps. I used to throttle the pump speeds with aquasuite: it helped keep the pump noise down. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to do that any more. I can go into the Configuration tab for each pump and manually adjust its power, but I can't figure out how to put the pump speed on any sort of controller. Any ideas?

The pumps are attached via USB, but I would rather move them to aquabus to be honest (the cable runs are much cleaner that way).

You would just connect both pumps with a aquabus y-adapter to the aquabus highspeed port of the aquaero. Bute before you do this you have to change the aquabus ID of one pump from 10 (default) to 11 via USB with the aquasuite software because otherwise the aquaero is not able to differ between both pumps.

Hi.
You need the pumps connected via 4 pin aquabus cable so they can be assigned to a controller on the Aquero. They won't show up just using USB.

here is mine, you can see on the second controller it shows as mps D5. you can connect up to 4 by giving them each a different aquabus address. You also need to change the priority from USB to aquabus on the D5 config tab. On mine the default address is 12 and can be changed to 12,13,14,or 15.
