Problem with D5 USB pump

mercredi 6 mars 2013, 13:57

Guys, I need some help on my D5 USB pumps.

OK, I have two D5 USB pumps, one MPS flow meter and an A5. They were all connected via USB. I set one pump ID 12, and the other 13, and the flow meter 14.
I shut down my PC, removed AC cable to make sure, connected the two pumps and flowmeter via aquabus. pump12 and flow meter were recognized from the A5, but pump13 did not respond to A5 controls.
I shutdown my PC again, removed AC cable to make sure, reconnected the two pumps via USB. pump12 was able to control, but pump13 was not able to adjust power. I was able to read out rpms which wandered around 3900rpm (it used to be 4700 at full).
The pump13 now seems to be locked at an intermediate power. (MPS says 1.8L/min used to be 2.5L/min)

Can someone help me out to get this pump working again?

I could not get my pumps to work correctly either. Aquaero would never make connection. Did not spend a lot of time working with them. Says in the paper work that came with mine that they will stop if temperature rises too much. Could not take a risk like that. Those style pumps were a little to noisy for me anyways. I have also found out that turning off the power supply or unplugging it if there was no switch. Then hold the power switch down to get all the electricity drained out of the system.

Start again and connect everything with USB and Aquabus (4 pin) at the same time. In the individual MPS tabs in Aquasuite for each device select the correct device type in the drop down menu, change the aquabus address for each to a unique number and the priority to Aquabus.

Save the settings to each device and the Aquaero with the button on their Tabs

Restart the computer (This may not be neccesary)

You should by now have access to the pumps and the flow meter in the Aquaero 5 tab of Aquasuite under "sensors" for the flow meter and "outputs" for the pumps

To control the pumps you have to assign both of them to a controller on the "controller" Tab

If everything is working you can disconnect the USB cables from the pumps and flow sensor ... You will only have access to these devices through the Aquaero and the Aquero tabs in Aquasuite after disconecting.

If you still have problems I would recommend posting some screen shots of settings etc.

Thanks guys.

I reconnected everything with USB and Aquabus. Set the IDs, and saved. Then rebooted.
It doesn't help.
Here is some SS.

I try to control the pumps... fail on ID 13 or Circuit B pump only.
ID 12 or Circuit A pump responds normally.

at first I was only able to select D5 1, 3, and 4.
later, I rebooted Aquasuite, then I saw D5 2 so I added it. (SS 12)
