Aquero 5/Aquasuite and Corsair Link

Montag, 6. Mai 2013, 20:30

Hello,

I am working on a new build and trying to resolve a compatibility question before I waste some money. After not hearing good things about Corsair Link, I have ordered an Aquero 5 monitoring system. However, I am happy with my current Corsair PSU and was looking to get the AX1200i. It comes with a 4 pin connector intended to go to the MoBo via a USB dongle and an internal USB connection. Can this go direct to the Aquero 5 via an aquabus, or can I access the controls on the PSU as a virtual sensor in the Aquasuite? Would hate to have to run Aquasuite and Corsair Link simultaneously...

Thanks for the help, and apologies if I've missed the info in another post

Aquabus is proprietary technology owned by Aquacomputer, so another vendors USB device isnt going to work. Sorry to bust your bubble, but unless AIDA64 or OHM can connect to the corsair link sensors you also wont be able to use aquasuite virtual sensors either.
Bottom line.. You'll probably need to run both.
I am Intel of Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Thanks for the info. I was afraid of that, as I am not sure how many control programs I what to run at one time. I will continue to do some research, and maybe same some money and go without a Link PSU.
