aquagra-tix/fx next generation

At present, we are working on the bases of the next generation graphics card cooler for the coming Nvidia chips.

We also want to catch up your opinions on the fundamental concept here. To structure the whole a little, there are the following areas:

1st material of the base plate: here stays essentially the decision between aluminium, copper, nickel-plate, anodizing, coating. To this combinations are possibly, e.g. aluminum base with a nickel-plated copper core.

2nd material of the lid: e.g. stainless steel, plexiglas

3rd cores: yes/no, material.

4th illumination: yes/no, which side

5th connections: G1/8", G1,/4", which one/which sides

6th maximum price: this also determines the other factors like core, lights etc..

Wow, I'm so flattered you ask for our opinions! :-*

1) copper with option for nickel-plated copper
2) plexi or stainless; delrin is so unoriginal
3) cores would be cool as a different color of copper or nickel-plated copper
4) illumination: yes! On the end of the kuhler that faces out
5) G1/4" connections all the way; I like them when the cooler comes up past the top of the card and the connectors are perpendicular to the plane of the card, with the option for an IN/OUT on one side or an IN/plug and OUT/plug for SLI (though I don't do the silly SLI thing)
6) Max price for me is US$130 (and that's not many Euros :'( )

I really liked the old days when it came with an aluminum core that could be upgraded, etc. I really like the idea of a base cooler that can be changed with upgrade parts.

You guys are always pushing the envelope with this stuff; I'm sure you will impress us with whatever you come up with!

1) Copper
2) Plexi / Plated Brass
3) yes, Copper
4) Option to add illumination i.e led hole to light the plexi
5) Both options - setup so SLI can work ok.
6) 100 euros

1) pure copper or gold plated copper on the inside (no oxidation). 0.nothing flatness.
2) Delrin/acetal or steel.
3) No
4) Why ? its a cooling component. its not a flashlight.
5) G1/4" Maybe on both sides (a plug on one side and a G1/4" fitting on the other side. or mounted right on so i could mount a 90 degree knee and decide the directions myself.
If people want light in it you should make G1/4" plugs with a LED in so there will come light out of the hose, i think it would look nice. a red and blue of course ;-).
6) 200€ I'm really not have a maximum price, as long as it is well made and it is strictly business

It is importent to me that it olso covers the ram.
