While 2014-1 brings with it many enhancements, it also has brought for some of us a major problem.

PROBLEM: The Software Sensors read from aida64 (and I assume OHM) are randomly ceasing.

SYMPTOMS: Control curves based on the Software Sensors cause the output devices (CPU Fans, etc.) to go to maximum when the input ceases.

TEMP FIX: Stopping and Starting Aquasuite Service restores the Software Sensors for a random length of time. Sometimes only a few minutes, sometimes up to 45 minutes (for me).

The Temp Fix is obviously of no use if the computer is unattended.

I have tried to revert to Aquasuite 2013V5.2 (which has run for over a week without having this problem) however since 2014-1 updated the Aquaero Firmware to 1035, 2013V5.2 cannot communicate with the Aquaero.

2013V5.2 indicates that the firmware needs to be updated to version 1034, but does not flash that firmware when update is selected. I assume we cannot flash backwards.


WHAT WE NEED:

The bug in Version 2014-1 Fixed so that the Software Sensor inputs are continuous and reliable.

OR

A means to Revert the Firmware in the Aquaero to 1034 so that we can return to 2013V5.2 until the bug in 2014-1 is fixed.
