Pathetic flow - aqua computer d5 - help!

Dienstag, 8. September 2015, 22:34

So no idea what is wrong - I fear the d5 is simply not powerful enough for my loop...
See video here of the very poor flow: http://youtu.be/J7g7t9eSaDM

Loop order is:
Pump - rad 240 - rad 480 - cpu - mosfet - rad 480 - dual gpu blocks - chipset - res

Also changing the pump from 100% to 1% (via aquaero) has absolutely no effect (percentage as given in top right corner on aquaero) - is my pump defective??

Hoping someone can please help!

Additionally - flow rate is even worse when the aquaero isn't powered - literally just a drip into the reservoir... :(

lso changing the pump from 100% to 1% (via aquaero) has absolutely no effect
You must setup the pump via USB. When the pump is running at full speed you have ~4800 rpm pump speed.

So right now the pump is not running at 100% ??

The pump is the only thing plugged into th aquaero at the moment, so no issues with aquabus id's I hope. (It's detected,, just doesn't do anything)

In the video it looks like the pump is not connected via Aquabus cable so the Aquaero can't control its speed.

It is connected via USB so you should be able to go to its MPS tab and manually adjust the speed. They normally come from the factory set at 100% though.

Edit: Never mind, I might have mistaken glare for an empty white Aquabus socket. I assume the Aquabus cable is under the USB cable in the video. If so, the pump must be set to Aquabus priority for the Aquaero to adjust its speed.
If you have that all set right then another alternative is the res. If that is one of the waterfall effect res then sometimes the centre tube is too long so the port plug at the top restricts flow i believe.
