Quick and easy question about flow sensors and the Aquero 6

Dienstag, 27. Dezember 2016, 10:42

Hi guys, I have just found out about this hardware and I am really pulling my dick over it.
Probably going to buy one the minute my query gets cleared up .

1) Are all the temp sensors that are included, and the temp sensors that I will buy from Aquacomputer for the Aquero 6. Are they already calibrated?

2) I think Aquacomputers flow sensors look ugly and I would like to use something like this
http://www.bitspower.com/html/product/pr…d=235&kind2=235

Is that going to be a problem? Can I just plug it in and it will work straight away?

lol, busted a gut laughing over your intro... must be a generational difference :D

1) Yes, you can plug the temp sensors in right out of the box/bag & they will work fine.

2) No, the Bitspower devices are flow indicators only, little whirly things that rotate.
You could put a little whirly thing in the loop where it is visible, and a true flow sensor in the back part of the loop where it is not visible.

No no the first few on that page I linked are flow indicators. But they also have flow sensors on that page.

Are they going to be giving out a generic signal that the aquero 6 can read? Or would I need to calibrate it?
