Installing Quadro and splitty 4

Looking for a bit of advice. I tried setting up the quadro and splitty 4 on my sons computer to run a couple of Corsair LL120 fans. The problem was that when the quadro was hooked up no other fans would start. As we were just testing there was not a screen hooked up.
It is a gigabyte z370 aourus gaming motherboard. The quadro was attached to the usb header.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Surprised that you have not got a response.

How did you set up Aquasuite software to manage the QUADRO? If you describe this and some screen shots then that may prompt some help.
