Fan Controller Delay Possible? Stop fans from ramping up and down on Ryzen

samedi 24 octobre 2020, 19:00

So I'm using this software for an air cooled PC right now. I use a virtual CPU/GPU max temp to control most of the fans. However, Ryzen spikes quite a bit into the 70-80*C range and then goes back down to 40-50*C almost immediately. When using my mobo software I just set a fan delay of 2 seconds, so once it hit 70C it would have to hold it for 2 seconds before the fans responded. This meant the fans never kept ramping up and down since it only holds 70*C for a split second. Is this possible to do something similar in Aquasuite X? I am using an Aquaero 6 and a Quadro.

Use Average(t) and Low pass filter functions in Playground.

Nice, didn't even know this area existed. Low pass time span lowest time is 5s, seems a little long. No way to lower that value? Also what does the damping number do, can't really tell when I move it up and down (range 0 to 100).

Damping is "strength" of smoothing.
Try Average(t), it may have lower then 5s time.

I had this issue with one of my pumps.

I just configured a minimum pump speed, and I never had the issue again.
