ULTITUBE 200 with next d5 pump "advice"

I got ULTITUBE 200 reservoir with next d5 pump and the top inline accessory..
is it ok to close the inline port that come as default with the reservoir,
and use the top inline port? does it effect the flow?

If your ULTITUBE top cover has G1/4 port, it is totally OK to use it as inlet.

yes it has,i bought top inline cover accessory to replace the original one..
