Hello everyone,
I'm building a custom loop and I really want to run some aqua computer hardware as I've heard the software is the best so far and I don´t want to miss out and stay with propietary software by TT or Corsair.
However, I need to solve some doubts and somebody correct me if required. Thanks in advance. I'm planning:
The custom Loop will have:
-OCTO
-SPLITTY12
x2 360 radiators
x2 120mm Thermaltake SWAFAN EX 12 (x6 fans in total, no dedicated controller).
Water cooled 4090, i7 14700k and M2 MP700pro.
So, as the 3 fans for each radiator can be unified in a single cable. However this magnetic cable that unifies this 3 fans has in one side this magnetic connection that sticks directly to the fans and the other side other 3 outputs, a 4 Pin PWM connector, an ARGB connector male, and an ARGB connector female.
I want to connect the 2 PWM cables from each set of 3 fans to OCTO (port 1 and 2) and I want to connect each respective male ARGB of each group of 3 fans to Splitty12 (port 1 and 2). Is this approach of Using OCTO to handle the PWM of both groups for every radiator and SPLITTY12 handle the RGB part of these fans correct?
In Resume:
OCTO> Powered by MOLEX, port 1: PWM of 1st group of 3 fans. Port 2: PWM of 2nd group of 3 fans. Output: USB group of the motherboard.
SPLITTY 12> Powered by SATA. Port 1: ARGB of 1st group of 3 fans. Port 2: ARGB of 2nd group of 3 fans. Output: Either to OCTO RGBpx (I prefer this if works) or directly into the motherboard with an ARGB port.
Is this config correct or I am missing something?
