I’ve just built my first custom loop, I’m new to Aqua Computer so I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I have an OCTO. I understand the configuration is saved in the OCTO so Aquasuite is not required to run. Which is exactly what I want because in addition to Windows I also run Pop OS (Linux) on my computer.

Now, I want to control my fans using the delta between ambient and water temperature. I created a simple virtual software sensor and that’s what I use to control my fan curve. And it works brilliantly… except that virtual software sensors are not saved in the OCTO. Therefore, when Aquasuite is not running, the OCTO is using the “fallback power” setting (which, for obvious reasons, I’ve set to quite a high value; 75%).

So, what am I doing wrong here, if anything? Both my ambient and water temperature sensors are connected to the OCTO, surely it should be able to compute the delta without help from the Aquasuite.
