After a long break I have recently become active again in regards to PC cooling.

I own two old PC's which have various Aquacomputer components and both are fitted with 6XT controllers.

I am looking at upgrading these PC's and both are running older versions of Aquasuite.

This week I purchased 2x High Flow Next flow meters to replace some MPS flow sensors in both PC's.


Do the High Flow Next flow meters come with an upgrade license capability for Aquasuite?
There is no indication on the box or inside as to whether this is the case.

I also assume that if it is so then the device license will be recognised automatically once it is installed and Aquasuite connects to the server etc.. thereby not requiring any manual serial/license number entry by me?

You don't have to enter any detail, once the flowmeter is connected, Aquasuite checks it on the server and will activate the 6 months updates, and then you can update Aquasuite.

I just wanted to confirm the process as last time I added a new component and upgraded Aquasuite was quite a few years ago and I recall having to manually enter code that came with the device.
