High flow next no flow indicator

Mittwoch, 22. Oktober 2025, 12:15

Hello everyone,

Since i first bought the high flow next sensor i was struggling to make the flow meter work. Its being connected to RGB port into usb header and the only indicator i've got is the temperature the flow is still 0.00L/h.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks

I am not following your post. The RGB is connected to a USB header??

The USB port should be connected to a USB2.0 header on your motherboard (or a hubby7 or whatever USB2.0 hub). The RGBpx port is an output to which you can connect up to 90 LEDs. If you are getting a coolant temp reading in Aquasuite from the High Flow Next, then the USB connection must be working. If your pump is running and coolant is moving through the loop, you should be seeing a flow rate in Aquasuite (assuming the High Flow Next is in the loop). You could try doing a factory reset.

That is correct it was my mistake its connected to USB plug into the USB header so i've got everything except flow rate , i did factory reset and still nothing

are you using quickconnects somewhere in the loop by any chance? have you tried pump speed at 100% ?

The Highflow NEXT displays flow rates from ~40 l/h; it cannot measure anything below this level.

My D5 next is at 100% constantly and it has flow because when my pump is at 0% my temp is going up. Not sure what do you mean quickconnect

Quick Connects are fittings that can be pulled apart easily, similar to the kind used on air hoses for pneumatic tools, but for liquids. There are many types but the old standby is the Koolance QD3 Series. I think Remayz may have been thinking that you had a set of Quick Connect fittings that were not fully pushed together and locked. They are designed to snap shut when you pull them apart so coolant does not get out. Quick Connects are also restrictive and will lower the flow rate a bit. It is possible that the rotor inside the High Flow Next is stuck or damaged.. You could try tapping lightly on the side of the housing and see it will start spinning. Its also possible that a piece of foreign matter from somewhere in the loop got sucked into the High Flow Next and is preventing the rotor from spinning. This is unlikely. It may also just be defective, which is quite uncommon but not impossible.
