Aquaero LT with different graphic LCD

Sorry but I can't speak German. :-/

I have a question about the Aquaero LT.
Is it possible that I can connect a graphic LCD display of 320x240px (Powertip) to the Aquaero LT?

Because I want a bigger screen to see all value's of the Aquaero and it's watercooling system.

Hi an welcome to the forum

In my opinion it is not possible to use another display than the standard displays with 2x20 characters. Also the complete firmware was desigened for 2x20. Even you could connect a bigger display you won't see any more characters.

The problem is, that the Controller for the Display is included in the Ae-µC, so you would need a display that is compatible to the Ae-µC. Moreover you would need a modified firmware and till the firmware is not open-Sourece there will be no chance to make such modifications.
The only chance for you will be waiting for the new software, so that you can read the data from the aquaero and load it into the normal LCD-Software (jaLCD and co.) :-/.

With the aquaero-Server-Software (beta) you could do that now too. But the question is: could the LCD-Software read the aquaero-server-data...
And this point will not change with the new software, you have to use a LCD-software that could read out the aquaero-data through the aquaero-server-socket!
Let's look which LCD-Software will include this function...

Sorry, I didn't meant that. The server-socket is for your own software. If you wish to use such a feature today, you have to write your own software.
I meant, that the new official Software (Release abaut Easter) will have the feature to save data into a database and most public LCD-Software have the support to read from a database
