Freitag, 1. September 2006, 03:01

Today i searched through the shop a little bit for all parts that i need for my new computer-system. For now i only want to cool my CPU. I can always buy an chipset/gpu block later.

System:

1 x Plug 2pole for Relay output (for aquaero)

Extra:

1x Ball valve plug&cool
4x Elbow-Connector plug&cool metal

Some question before i gonna order:

* Aquastream needs 1/4 fitting or 1/8 fitting?
* What fitting for Aquajet?
* What fitting for Aquaero temperaturesensor (sensor placed in Aqautube)
* Why uses Airplex Pro 360 1/4 fittings and all other stuff 1/8? Do i need connection adapter for this?
* The standard PUR 3/8 Tube fits on 1/4 and 1/8 fittings?

Can someone check if i got everthing (power cables, connection cables, screws, fittings, etc)?

Thanks in advance,

Oxize

Aquastreams need the adapter set and 2x G1/8 connectors.

Aquajets uses a G1/8 connector.

The inline sensor is designed to fit in a PnC connector. Just use a straight G1/8 PnC connector.

All products excepting the radiators and the flow meter are using G1/8. You don't need an adapter because the PnC connector is always the same.

PnC uses 8/6mm tubing.

For your list: I highly recommend that you use the active blue tubing instead of the clear blue additive. The uv active tube is MUCH better 8)

You are missing ac fluid! Note that clear blue is only for color, it has no anti corrosion abilities.

I can't see two connectors for your aquatube. Don't forget them ;)

You should also get the relais connector for the aquaero. It will enable you to shutdown your PC or switching other stuff on and off.

Can you still see the water through the tubes? Normally when you have UV Active tubes, the tubes are not transparant anymore because of the chemical ingredients in the tubes material. Nevermind, changed it  ;D

Ah good that you mentioned that. I already though i miss something :D

There already on my list -> 5 x  Connector plug&cool straight G 1/8  (2 for Cuplex XT ,1 for Aquastream, 2 for Aqautube)

I think you mean this one?

"Stecker 2pol. für Relaisausgang (für aquaero)". This connector can be putted on 12v cable from the PSU or from the molex?

I meant this adapter set.

The active blue tubing is a bit milky like the normal tube. No real difference here.

I use active blue in my PC and like it much more than the uv additive:

- at day without uv light
- at day with uv light
- in the dark with uv light

The relais connector is the right one. Simple and easy way to us it for emergency shutdown of you system:

Connect the aquaero parallel to the power-switch of your mainboard.

@Adapter-set: Changed it.
@Active Blue Tubes: Jeah looks nicer. Changed it also.
@Relais: If you connect the Aqauero through an Molex, its act the same as the relais. So why this relais if the molex does the same?

Example: I push powerbutton. Power goes to molex, Aqauero starts up. Push powerbutton again. System/Aqauero off.

Or does this relais just act like an On and Off button? So when its get power it dont get on yet, but using this relais you can turn it on and off?

The relais will enable your aquaero to shutdown your system. Therefor it needs a connection to the powerbutton or the power_on wire (green) of your PSU.

Well, have you ever tried to shutdown your PC via a molex connector? Maybe David Copperfield can do that, but you won't ;D
