Mittwoch, 28. Januar 2009, 23:15

Dear God(s) :)

Could anyone gimme advice about full set of Aqua Comp watercool parts for my system?

F***ng octacore system with GTX-oven is blazing fast for all my tasks but this evil box is extremally loud and warm on the heavy load. X(

All these zalman/shalman don't make me happy because these ones are loud as well with matching fan speed.

Well, you've heard it hundreds times before obviously so I won't go on :)

Configuration is:

1. Intel Skulltrail motherboard as is.
http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboards/d5400xs/d5400xs-overview.htm

2. Two Xeon with LGA775 (!) coolers.

3. 4 x 1 Gb Kingston HyperX 800MHz FB-DIMM
http://www.kingston.com/hyperx/products/khx_fbdimm.asp

4. 4 x 750 Gb Seagate ES.2 RAID on the Adaptec PCI-E 3805 SAS RAID

5. Gigabyte GTX280
http://www.gigabyte.de/Products/VGA/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2855

6. X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty PCI

Please, help! I need the complex solution to let my head be healthy ::)))

By other words I want watercooled CPUs, GPU, northbridges, Nvidia bridge, memory and disks. Rest of all is pretty cool and good. And I need direct links to your shop for parts :)

Million thanks in advance. :)

Well... Gigabyte GTX280 http://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info…roducts_id=1148 ???

Your mainbard ist realy special.... there will be only 1 way.... You need to measure all parts by your self and look if some of the cooler will fit. In extream cases you can glue with heat transfare glue the cooler to the chip.

8)
M.-Sys: Gigabyte GA-FX-58-extreme / 920@4Ghz / 6gig Corsair / r9 290 all AC

Wäre es nicht adäquat, den Usus heterogener Termini zu minimieren?
(Sollte man nicht weniger Fremdworte verwenden?)

Thank you, Papa_Schlumpf!

But Aqua Computer hardware is something special as well :)

I want to say this Mobo has plain LGA775 coolers (now there OCZ Vendetta) and these one fit pretty well. Bridges are from Nvidia.

I sure I can choose plates and coolers, but what about pump, fits, etc? I don't have any expierence with Aqua Computer water cooling design and installations. :(

Thank you once more for your answer.

You can use the Aquastream XT for your pump; it's quite powerful and offers a USB or Aquaero interface for monitoring and control.

You will need at least a 3x120 radiator for cooling 2x Xeons, NB, SB, and ram. If you decide to cool graphics as well, you may need a bigger one.

The easiest thing to do is to pick out all your waterblocks first and then pick the radiator, and then all the fittings, tubings, etc. that you will need.
