Assumed that aquaero is connected via usb to the motherboard: aquastream should be connected to aquaero via aquabus EXCLUSIVELY or should I also connect the aquastream to motherboard via usb? (ie: aquabus or aquabus+usb?).

You can also connect the pump via USB when it is already connected via aquabus. In this case you will ba able to use all functions from USB and aquabus :)
