Help needed with ordering

Hi folks
I'm trying to order an Aquaero and a few accessories, and I'm having a hard time with the ordering process. After floundering around for a bit trying to find an English language version of the AquaComputer site (finally had to Google) - or should I say, partial English version, because only a few product pages are actually translated - I've got my cart full of the stuff I want, but I'm having difficulties actually placing my order.
  • Firstly, all the Terms and Conditions the checkout requires agreeing to are in German. I've got no idea what I'm supposed to be agreeing to :P
  • Second, I think one of the items I'm interested in is out of stock, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what "lange Lieferzeit" means? As a corollary, if the Aquaero replacement black faceplates are out of stock, does anyone know when they'll be available again?
  • Finally, it would be much more convenient for me to be able to pay via credit card, but as far as I can make out the checkout system does not have an option for this. Does AquaComputer accept credit cards (preferably American Express)?

I realise that these questions are more properly handled via e-mail, but from looking at the "UNTERNEHMEN/Kontakt" page (which is entirely in German) I have no idea who I should be e-mailing or what address I should be sending mail to.
Any help with this much appreciated!

1.) Well, I can't translate the whole agreements to you. They are nothing special; like any other typcial agreement you will find in shops.

2.) "Lange Lieferzeit" means long delivery time. Depending on the product that can be two or more weeks. Which product with that status do you want to order? For the black aquaero covers I can already tell you that it will take at least four weeks until we have them back in stock.

3.) For payment we only accept wire transfer, PayPal (you can use your credit cerd here), cash on delivery (Germany only) or cash if you pick it up here.

I was interested in the black replacement faceplates, yes. That's a very long lead-time - has there been some issue with them? I imagine they'd be quite popular, so I'm surprised to hear that getting more will take so long. Are they special order only? If so, would I need to put an order in for one now and then wait the four weeks? I'd really rather not delay getting everything else by four weeks by putting in an order for everything at once, but at the same time for something with such a low price compared to everything else I'd really rather not pay the bank fees for transferring money internationally twice over. Would it be possible to pay in one lump sum, and have the faceplate shipped out separately when ready? Or, alternatively, should I ask this question in an e-mail directed to the above address?

As for the terms and conditions, this is surprising. If you're operating an English-language version of your website and making sales to English-language customers, and therefore want English-language customers to agree to your terms and conditions when placing orders, which is only natural, you should have them in a language that the customer can understand. Common expectations of rights and obligations of customers can differ dramatically in different countries, as I've certainly experienced when travelling. I'm not sure about in Germany, but here in Australia you'd be on very shaky legal ground indeed by conducting all other negotiations in English, and then asking a customer to sign a final contract written in a language they don't understand.

I've only ever heard good things about your business and products, please don't get me wrong, but I'm very reluctant to enter into a contract without making sure I understand all the terms to which I'm agreeing to be bound.

We do not do the powder coating in our company so we have to wait for it. It should not be necessary to order it now to have one for sure. We normally have a large quantity in stock when we get them back.

Shipping it separately in a padded envelope might work if your order is a bit larger.
