aquacomputer noob asking simple questions

Saturday, March 19th 2011, 3:39pm

Hi guys,
Im getting myself prepared for the summer, gona sort out as good a watercooling set up as i can.
I want to buy something similar to this:

140 x3 radiator (with fans, shrouds and dampners)
120 x1 radiator (with fan, shroud and dampner)
tube shape reservoir
cpu block
gpu full cover block
northbridge block
water temperature monitor
water flow rate monitor
water level monitor
pump
fixings etc.

I have been looking at the tubemeter usb, do i need to have an aquacomputer front panel device? or can i plug it straight into the usb on my motherboard?
Are the aquacomputer temperature / flow rate monitors compatible with normal fan controllers (i have a PWM one with 2pin thermometer input)?

The tubemeter can be also used as a stand alone device. In this case it can be configured and monitored with the aquasuite software.

The temperature sensors might work if your controller is made for 10kOhm NTCs (very common). For the flow sensor I'm pretty sure it will not work.
