I just got a new Aquaero 5 PRO. The user manual says current as of April 2011.
I turned off my psu and connected the molex only and started up my machine. The screen on the unit did not display nor were there any other signs of life. Curious I turned my computer off, plugged in a single fan and started my system back up. Still no screen, however this time the board in the Aquaero did heat up, though the fan did not work. I've tried plugging in the usb to see if aquasuite would recognize it and it did not. I've read that connecting the last temperature pins, marked 8 on the back with a jumper would initiate a reset, I don't have any jumpers, but tried with a copper screw. Still nothing. I've also read that connecting pins marked 5,6,7 and 8 would also reset the unit, but I was unable to set up the screws to do that and have ordered jumpers to try.
Is there anyone here who has had similar problems as these? Is there anything else I can do to try to get the unit to work?
