Thermal Sensor Connection

Monday, January 5th 2015, 2:10am

I have never installed thermal sensors before, not really having modded much.
But now I need to add thermal sensors.
The sensors come with a 2 pin connector, and I don't know if polarity matters.

My motherboard manual differentiates the pins as Temperature and Ground:

And the sensor plug has a small arrowhead on the plug by one of the pins:

But the aquaero manual lists no distinction:

Should I assume the arrowhead marked pin to be the temperature lead, or does it not matter?

Don't worry, there is no polarity in this type of sensors. In fact the sensor is a resistance which value varies accordingly to the temperature.
