conector led aquaero 4

Montag, 18. April 2016, 02:14

Hi.
I want to set you my aquaero 4 ones multicolor LEDs. Where I could get cast factory? and if I had to weld that LEDs are necessary?
In the manual and saw that puts this
4.7. LED
Connection possibility for two LEDs or one dual-colored LED (not included
in delivery) respectively. Standard-LEDs (I max 20 mA) may be
used without a series resistance, which is already integrated in the
aquaero.
Pin assignment: Pin 1: VCC LED 1
Pin 2: VCC LED 2
Pin 3: GND

Not sure if this was what you wanted, but I use a dual color LED setup I got from AC on my front mounted Aquatube. If you're running it in the horizontal mode I would suggest that you stick the LED's into the side. If you have an inline water temp sensor you can work it so at one temp it's one color and at another temp it's another color. If I recall correctly it is possible to get them both on at the same time which produces a third color.

I'm fairly sure you can do all this in the Aquasuite software as well, but I'm behind the 8 ball in that department.

Aquaero front panel middle button => LED parameters => LED Menu1 and LED Menu2

i'm going to make a new LED assembly using a multicolor LED in a few weeks. Let you know how it turns out. :S

Thank you very much.
What I want is that according to the water temperature sensor is shone from one color or another color. But not that kind of led buying. 20mA must be mandatory? and must be 2 them mandatory?

If you go more than a 20 milliamp draw then you will have to calculate the series resistance and add in a resistor. You can use either a single LED, two LED's, or a single multicolor LED. As I said before I use two LED's: One red and one green, but you could use any color that strikes your fancy. A 20 milliamp LED is fairly standard.

Which Aquaero version do you have and are you using Aquasuite? Shoggy would probably be a better one to talk to about the Aquasuite as I haven't used it for many years.

Here is a LED calculator and here is a LED tutorial.

Pin assignment: Pin 1: VCC LED 1 (whatever color you want)
Pin 2: VCC LED 2 (whatever color you want)
Pin 3: GND (you only need one wire for both grounds if you are using 2 LED's.

Here's my setup on my front Aquatube.

I wanted to put 1 single multicolor LED. Use aquaero rev. AquaSuite 4.0 with version 4.72.00
It can be connected directly to 5mm LED connector aquaero led without resistance?
I have a Clable like this
http://www.moddiy.com/product_images/j/6…_71743_zoom.jpg
I cut one end and pay a LED.

Are those 3 wire cables or two wire cables? Your multicolor LED should have 3 leads on it correct? If that is correct and it is a 20 milliamp LED you are good to go. If it has more than 20 milliamp draw then you will have to use the LED calculator link to calculate the series resistance needed. Where did you get the multicolor LED from?

The LED is this:
http://www.shoptronica.com/led-bicolor-t…olor&results=28
I live in Spain so buy it there. Not specify more than what it says on the website.
The cable will be this:
http://www.moddiy.com/product_images/v/4…_77815_zoom.jpg
One is the short ends and the LED salary. put no resistance. or should I?

Complicate could stop and buy one miss manufactures.

It should be worth for aquaero 4 as it has support for 3-pin connector.

My only concern is that the LED you specified shows a draw of 50 milliamps +

Also the cable you show is a 4 wire cable suitable for a Aquaero 5 or 6. If you're using an Aquaero 4 then you need a 3 wire cable. See page 8 and page 44 of the Aquaero 4 owners manual.

As shown in descriptions of 50 mA minimum. What could happen if I connect it to aquaero putting 20mA max? LED not shine? aquaero could damage?

**POOF** :!:

Not a good idea UNLESS you put in the series resistor.

And they got me. They are 20mA 5mm in size. What soldare a cable 3-pin fan.

I connected the led to aquaero but not on. You have to set something in AquaSuite?

At the end it achieves that lights but only with yellow and black wire but not black and red LED lights.

And connect the bicolor led but I have doubts. I see that the scale of% is very small. ie 40% up to 60% and just changing color LED shows.

Then I have another problem. My liquid water is so blue when you turn on the red LED just not noticed anything.
