Update from Mayhems.
The staining in the res is caused by the way the Aqualis works as more of an expansion tank holding the warm fluid, The best advice we could give is to contact Aquacomputer and ask them what is the best way to clean there product.
Below is a link to the MSDS sheets the coolants incase they ask what coolant you were using.

Anybody from Aqua care to advise me please?
thanks
I saw your post in Mayhems, but no reply. They must have PM'd you.
I am surprised at their statement about the aqualis being an expansion tank....that's what every reservoir is/does.
I was a Mayhems fan boy, but am getting disenchanted with their recent BS.
Probably the best question to ask aquacomputer is what is safe or not safe to use on their nano-coated reservoir... bleach, acid, etc.
Your quickest response is probably to shoot an email to
support@aqua-computer.de.
Wondering, if you refill your system with the same color, does it matter if the res is stained?
If you use dye in your system, there is a good chance it will stain res, blocks, tubing.
