Poweradjust 2

Dienstag, 5. August 2025, 14:42

I needed a 5th fan output so I found one of my old Poweradjust 2 and connected it to the fans. It works with the fans, but I have no connection over the Aquabus. My Aquaero has 2 Aquabus connections, one for the newer types, which works just fine, but the one to the left of it (from the backside) which should be able to connect to the old Poweradjust 2 doesn't connect. I have 2 Poweradjust 2's the first connected to the Aquaero, the second to the first. What am I doing wrong here? Can't you use both the old and new type Aquabus at the same time?

The aquabus low(speed) port is not compatible with the poweradjust. Besides that, this port is also no longer being used as aquabus since many years. It was reprogrammed to serve as a second flow sensor port.

You have to use the aquabus high(speed) port. Either with a suitable Y-cable or by using the second connection of the first poweradjust, which basically works just like a Y-cable. Since both devices use the same aquabus ID number by default, you have to change that number for one of the controllers via the aqusasuite software. The ID number can be changed in the system tab of the controller.

Make also sure that the poweradjust uses a firmware version that is compatible with your setup. When the poweradjust is connected via USB and the firmware is outdated, you will be promted to perform an update.

I trierd the hub 8splitty or whtever it's nme) for the 2 Powerdjsuts, changed numbers so not to interfere with each other (pump on 30, mps on 12 to 14, nd Poweradjusts on 50 and 51), but they still won't communicate over the Auabus have you done som reprogramming so the old manual isn't correct anymore?

Test all devices individually on the bus.
This means connecting only one device at a time directly via cable without any splitters.
If everything works and all device addresses are correct, you can connect several devices to the bus at the same time.
Take screenshots of any settings or unclear issues and upload them.
If you change anything on the bus, always turn off the power supply (unplug it).
