English help with German terms needed

Donnerstag, 17. März 2005, 00:50

Greetings most exalted ones...

I haven't had a chance to go buy a German to English dictionary yet ;)
What is the difference between plug & cool gerade and plug & cool gewinkelt? I would assume it means either plastic or metal, but then it might mean straight or 90* (bent)...

Thanks :)

gewinkelt = bent 90°C with pivotable connectors
gerade = straight (but only in technical terms ;D )

Pivotable is definitely the ticket!

How about "ohne Anschlüsse" ? Maybe with or without fittings?

Wait a minute guys... :o

Does gewinkelt mean a "Bent" or 90 degree angle fitting? "Pivotable" means to me that it has a 90 degree angle and also swivels, right?

A Plug & Cool 90 degree fitting that also swivels would be really nice if it wasn't too big!

Yep, it does swivel :)
