Aquaero LT in stand-alone mode?

Dienstag, 7. Juni 2005, 23:00

Hi all,

does anyone know if the aquaero LT can be used disconnected from the computer (i.e. WITHOUT the USB connected)?

i don't mind if it has to be connected initially to set it up, but i would like to use it on a Via embedded motherboard, and as they are not the most powerful of thing, i'd like to have the aquaero run itself without taking up processor cycles with the aquasuite!

cheers!

Yes, that's possible but as mentioned by yourself a initial setup is necessary.

btw: why don't you use a USB connection from the Epia Board? As long as the software is not running you have no CPU load. And when you want to change something you have it already connected and don't need to fumble around inside the case.

true, but the HID drivers are loaded when it's connected, am i right?

they will take up some memory, and cpu cycles :'(
