A few people had the problem that the tubemeter is showing a too high fill level. The new firmware fixes this problem.

You can download firmware 1.06 here.

You have to connect the tubemeter to a USB port if you want to flash it. Close all unnecessary applications, start the Aquasuite and flash the downloaded file.
After flashing the tubemeter it will log on to USB again; if not you have to shutdown your pc (off) and start it again.

So is there some kind of circuitry inside the Tubemeter casing? Or does the flash procedure just update the Aquasuite software?

It updates the µC's flash with a new firmware (old firmware was 1.5 - you can see that only, when the tubemeter is connected to usb)

If it would just update the Aquasuite, it woudn't be necessary to conect the tubemeter via USB.

So you see: There is a flash on the tubemeter.

No, it's not - that's why it was mentioned to connect it to USB

.

(Had the same problem: Tubemeter was connected to the auqaero and it was not easy to get the usb-cable plugged - not much space in my pc
