I just can say, that the 8mm hole in the middle is used in relation with the plug&cool-System and you'll need it sometime. To use it you maybe need a cutter as second tool. But the cutter is not always necessary

One guy on the [H] says it's for a P&C fittings so you can use the tool as a jet impingement centering device with the non-conductive coolant. :o

And of course the latest in chic wearing apparel is seen right here.
