Off topic but i need help?

Off topic but i need help?

I have installed a Broadband router and it has been working fine all day and night and now i cant connect to msn messenger or Emule etc, but yet it still lets me surf!

I have the same problem on both PC's.

What could this be down to. I have reset the DSL Modem and the router.

Pls help me on this.

You probably forget to open the ports.
In eMule you can select them. let it connect using port 80 (the same as most browsers use it) and it should work again.

Or open the default eMule ports.

Its ok T-online forgot to mention they were working on servicing there servers. This happened the same time i added the DSL router. So i put 1 and 1 together and thought it was the routers settings. LOL.

But thankyou anyway.
