Temp Sensor in Aquatube

Monday, July 3rd 2006, 9:24pm

Heya and welcome to me to these forums ;)

Was just wondering what was the best way to install the AC tempsensor so that it keeps an eye on the watertemp inside the Aquatube?

It looks like this:
http://www.aqua-computer-systeme.de/shop…21b0ba8bc28f251

I haven't had a go at installing it yet - cause its still in the mail. However, I can't seem to think of a good way to fit it so that it checks the temp inside the tank.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: If I'm breaking any forum rules with this post, lemme know, I don't know german so have to "decode" it by wordrecognition from Norwegian and that doesn't always work out too well :P

That sensor is designed to be installed into an 8mm pushfit fitting.

Screw a spare G1/8" 8mm straight pushfit (plug & cool) fitting into a spare port on your Aquatube, and push the sensor in - job done ;)

[edit] Doh! Too slow ;D [/edit]
