Almost 3 weeks ago I sent an email to Aquacomputer support but got no response whatsoever, so I am trying to post here in order to find a solution
I have purchased an Aquacomputer ULTITUBE D5 100 PRO reservoir with D5 NEXT pump (from Aquatuning.de). After I assembled the watercooling system, everything worked fine except for the RGB ring that came together with the ULTITUBE. It just didn't lit. I switched the D5 NEXT port to the RGBpx mode and connected the cable to the IN port; tried restarting and powering off the pump completely – nothing helped.
From this thread RGBpx wiring Diagram I understand there should be 5V between the red and the black wires, but there is nothing. The only voltage I can see is ~3.3V between the green and the black cables (similar to reported in this thread D5 Next -> kryographics RTX2080TI: RGBpx geht nicht?) which should not be there as far as I understand; and this voltage disappears upon switching the mode from RGBpx to Pump 1/2, so something is happening but not the right thing, apparently.
Is there anything else I could try? I don't want to RMA the whole ULTITUBE, while the pump itself is working just fine and I don't want to lose my rig for a prolonged period of time (Aquatuning doesn’t have any ULTITUBE D5 100 Pro in stock anyway)
Unfortunately not
