Is ganz nett,

aber arts hätten sie sich wirklich sparen können. Hatte mit dem Teil nur Ärger.

Und lm-sensors geht auch nicht out-of-the-box.

nice, mal eben mit max speed getorrentet und gebrannt. praktisch!

unter windows (Kubuntu-desktop-cd) startet per autorun eine hübsche werbung für opensource-software incl. windows-versionen, sowie verweise auf http://www.theopencd.org/ - wusste gar ned, dass das auch canonical gehört.

Ich brenns gerade auf eine DVD+RW, ich hoffe mal, diese Version kommt besser mit NDISWrapper, Netgear WG311V3-Win-Treibern und Verschlüsselung klar - bei dem letzten Versuch mit Ubuntu 5.10 konnte mir niemand sagen, warum der Rechner mit WEP hängt und mit WPA den Kernel in Panik versetzt :

Hab direkt vorgestern nacht ein Upgrade von Breezy auf Dapper gemacht - und es lief problemlos und läuft jetzt auch einwandfrei.

Ja, Ubuntu läuft, und zwar mit WLAN und WPA (unter 5.10 war das unmöglich: WLAN ging nur ohne Verschlüsselung und kein Linux-Pro konnte mir sagen warum :'().

Aber ein paar Probleme hab ich noch, nach dem Reboot...
-ist immer Eth0 aktiv und Wlan0 deaktiviert, wie ändere ich das?
-der wpa-supplicant ist in "/etc/network/interfaces" eingetragen, trotzdem muss ich ihn von Hand starten, warum?
