Just received my first Aquacomputer parts and have some problems/questions

Hi,

I've recently ordered two 6970 nickel blocks and the nickel Kryos XT from various sources. I have seen both cosmetic flaws, nickel plating that is flaking off and larger amounts of oxidation and grime on parts which is not what I expected based on what I've seen online from Aquacomputer. I've returned the CPU block already but am worried that I am not getting the best quality parts. I love the look of your products but haven't been 100% satisfied with the quality that I've received given the $350+ I'm spending on blocks alone. Have I just been getting unlucky? I'm worried that reordering may set me up for much of the same or even worse. Since these parts are coming from overseas it's beginning to get expensive to return through the mail and wait for a replacement which may or may not have the same defects. I've attached pictures to help describe what I am talking about.

This dent is present on both of my gpu blocks which came from two different sources.

What should I do? Keep reordering/returning items? I've asked on several forums and have contacted the various vendors but figured I'd post here to ask for some advice. I know that some of these things are just cosmetic but, being advertised as precision machined components, I was expecting more. Am I expecting too much? Thanks for any help.

That dent in the steel cover is likely an artifact from the laser cutter. Most of my blocks have similar spots, they are just cosmetic and won't impair function. They're also probably inevitable.

About the CPU block, that is definitely not the quality AC usually delivers, it looks more like second hand. My advice is to keep the aquagratix but return the kryos.
Hier geht's zum RGBAmp
Hinweis: Der RGBAmp stammt nicht von AC und wird nicht offiziell supported!
Note: The RGBAmp is not an AC product and isn't officially supported.

Thank you for the advice. I've already returned the Kryos block and after talking to some other on forums, think I am going to return both GPU blocks and try a different brand. I was really hoping for the best from Aquacomputer.
