well if it were so self explanatory, the question wouldn't been asked, the Aquaero works off 4 and 3 pin fans and the 3 pin do have a rpm signal and not knowing the aquaero i don't know if it is a concern
but thanks for the lack of help.

As you described in the question the fan has a ground and + wire. No RPM
3 pin fans have ground, + and sense/RPM wires.
4 pin fans have ground, +, RPM and PWM wires.

If you are building an enthusiest PC with watercooling a little googling on how things work goes a long way.

i fully understand how fans work but no amount of googling will provide an answer which is
does the aquaero when using voltage require a rpm in order to control the fans.,
this makes twice you've answered my posts without providing any useful help,no offence but let someone else help me,thx

Lol, only child much?

Experimentation is what this is all about, so maybe to try this:
1. Set the fan to Power controlled and probably the controller doesn't look for RPM input from the fan, it provides power per the curve.
2. Set the fan to Speed controlled and the controller will run the fan at 100% without an RPM signal.

Im just looking ahead as im still acquiring parts for this build and wanted to ask this question so i could buy 3 pin fans ahead of time if needed.
i dont specifically know how the aquaero is set to work as germans have their own unique way of building things which is why i ask.
im in no way a child,im 56,not ignorant and do have the common sense to google if possible so suggesting so is nothing short of sarcasm and not helpful nor appreciated,
i could say ''only child much'' is not proper grammar and google is ''your'' friend but i wont as it serves no purpose, isn't polite and quite simply is not needed, see what i mean?
anyways ive tried bookoo scenarios on this similar build just to avoid issues on my next build, appreciate the suggestions.
