Question regarding data sources from the Aquacomputer Hardware Monitor - RAM temperature

Friday, May 16th 2025, 3:57am

Hi,

I would like to know if it's normal that RAM temperature is not reported in the "Hardware Monitor" section, or does it have to do with my setup combination ?

Said temps are reported fine in HWInfo, but I don't seem to be able to make them show as a potential data source (I use the free version tho)

I would like to be able to add those as a custom sensor to tie some of my fans' speed to it, as DDR5 can get quite toasty, especially when OCed

Rig :

MSI X670E board,
2x16G of Corsair memory

Feel free to ask anything you think is relevant.

Thanks :)

Shared memory support enabled in hwinfo? It’ll be in the main settings, not the settings you get from the sensors panel. Since you’re using the free version you’ll have to re-enable every 12 hours or something like that I think. If you’ve already done that I’m not sure lol

Thanks, I forgot shared memory was available for trial in the free version.

I think I'm gonna fork some money for the pro version.
