Hi Franklin,

what about the LCD now? Did you buy "ersatzdisplay für aquabay"? I´ve got the same one and do not really now how to connect it. Did you find software for it?
In wanted to have "ersatzdisplay for aquaERO" but AC sent "ersatzdisplay for aquauBAY" to me. But I paid just 19,99 instead of 84,99 ;D

Only blank metal and green. I'm going to use some green leds to light up some acrylic parts.

No major udates yet, just polishing and polishing and polishing..............

Between all the polishing I work on the hosemanagement from the two waterloops. I will use two valves to make it easy to drain the system when needed. These two valves will be placed in the bottom of the case ( lowest point in the waterloops )

I'm still waiting for some alumium sheets that I need. I have tested the system and ran into a problem. The PSU has some trouble with all the hardware, so I have decided to place a second PSU in the system. I don't want to get serious problems when the mod is ready and when I try to overclock it. Due to this minor setback I had to adjust the lay-out a bit, but no major problems.

Today I finished the frame for the pumphousings. Because I want to light up the UV acrylic glass under the housings without the LEDs to be visible I made an aluminium frame.

and an overall picture from the pumphousing

All I have to now is tapping some thread to replace the original screws ( the selftapping ones that came with the FMJ housing )

Awesome! :o 8)

It looks more and more like that Orac Mod!
[But please do not use a stainless steel hose for sleeving like that Orac guy. It looks bad (my opinion). ;)]

I have replaced the standard selftapping screws from the FMJ-housing by sextant bolts. In order to do that I had to tap the holes in the housings.

And I think the result is a lot better with these bolts.

After a long wait all the aluminium plates I need came in. You can see the scratches on the raw material, so it will cost me a lot of time to sand it.

The first aluminium sheet is almost finished. This sheet is gonna cover up the ugly rack for the drives. I will have to cut out a piece for the lcd screen and it needs to be polished.

The attached the front to the DVD drives with some sextant bolts. Now I only need to attach the stealthed buttons to the eject buttons and the front is ready.

The buttons from the Aquaero were too short so I extended them a bit.

Danke Jungs! A very small update. I testfitted the lcdscreen cover and made a photograph of course.

The lcdscreen itself is not mounted yet, first I will have to shorten the two sextantbolts that hold the cover in place.

Today I mounted the HDD rack with small sextant bolts. The combination of the HDD rack and LCD screencover even turned out better as I expected.

On the right side the two watercooled PSU's are visible. The one on top is still covered with tape. This will need some Dremeling like the first one of course. All the cables will be stealthed. The sata and powercables from the HDD's will be covered by those two aluminium plates.

Abklatsch? Warum? Ich nutze viele ideen die ich bei andere mods gesehen hab. Die meiste dingen sind schon mal vorbeigekommen in andere forums. Ich versuche nur meine Computer ein eigenes Gesicht zu geben.

Ich und schnell  ;D I started this mod in december last year. Started planning the whole thing even six months before that.

Small update.
I had the holder for the valves and today I installed them. The idea of the valves is that the system can be drained without any problems if needed. I used a handdrill to make the holes.

These are the places to drill.

and now with the housing in place.

Just have a look if it all fits

and from behind

To install the holders I had to remove the rack that supports the PSU. So that will have to be placed back again.

I made a mistake with sawing the hole for the second PSU, so I had to make a new backplate. The two PSU's are identical, both watercooled.

The next thing I did was making a new backplate for the Aquadrives.

Just behind this aluminium plate another sheet of aluminium will come. The space between these plates will be used to cover up the cables to the harddisks and the PSU cables from the top PSU. A lot of hoses will go through these plates too, so I will have to drill some more holes in them.

This second plate will also be attached to the pump/FMJ housing. First I need to know where to drill.

These places....

and with the pump in place.
