Hm, glaube ich nicht so ganz - denn gute Ideen und viel Geschick kann man auch mit allem Geld der Welt nicht kaufen. Ich selbst würde sowas jedenfalls auch mit unbegrenzten Mitteln kaum hinkriegen - höchstens mit Chewy als Leiter meines dann zusammengestellten Produktionsteams ;D

du surfst nachts um kurz vor 2 im internet und redest von "keine zeit" ? :
ich bin sicher, dass wenn ICH die zeit dazu habe bzw. mir nehme so etwas zu bauen, dann kannst du das auch. also halt dich ran. in 10 monaten musst du deinen schlauen spruch beweisen.

Wenn mir einer das große Video der Aquasphere zur Verfügung stellt, dann pack ich das auf meinen Webserver zum allgemeinen Download. Hab noch genug Transfervolumen übrig

Macht nix, habe 150 GB Transfervolumen monatlich frei

If always I have more and more questions..., sorry for worrying... What´s the conection line used? I mean, for example: Pump>Block>Radiator>Reservoir...
When you´ve time it should be fine to take some pics of the location of the radiator and so... (Only when you can/would).
The honeycomb mesh used on the sides looks really fine... thinking in copying this idea for my cube case... Haven´t thought a mesh like this could shine so bright only iluminated with the cathodes inside... But the think makes me worrying about this is the sound coming off the case. Do you hear any sounds of the Aquastream bomb outside... Hm, I imagine that you couldn´t hear much, because Eheim pumps are very quiet, but for my Iwaki RD30 and the Swifty MCP650 are..., you know..., a little overpumps... (I know, I know, suppose that foreign stuff isn´t welcome... and the always talked difference between american mounting and the german one, but you know, at Spain we use this one... there are always diferent ideas and at least this is a good thing also, ´cause if the same things were used the forums are a non be...)
The post of the forum-user who has said something against the time used in making such a case, I would say something about this. I have made my own case, following the idea of the case sold on "mountainmods" (sorry for saying the company, if this is any problem tell me this and I edit the post...). The work on the case took me ~30 hours, without counting the time spend with searching components, materials, etc... Wouldn´t really imagine the time would take me made such a case made by chewy (by the way it wouldn´t surely work out like this one...). So I really respect the time used in making the case and moreover looking then the great visual style achieved...

question 2 : the noise
the aquasphere ist DEFINATELY silent. absolute silent.
the 3 x 120mm fans are at 350 U/min and so you cant hear them. the only thing you can hear is the HDD - and the maxtor are really quiet. But this was expected - this "noise" should show how silent a pc can be when you cool it with water.

Thanks for the info chewy..., nice circuit...
I´ve thought that the tubes could work like a passive radiator..., so the inclusion of an Evo surpresed me..., but I suppose that the disipation of the material the tubes are made of are insufficient for the temps reachead with the processor and the video card...
I´ve added you to the ICQ (thanks for the number...), maybe we could talk about this proyect one day if we see us there..., would be nice...

Nicht wenn man Montag bis Freitag von knapp 11 Uhr morgens bis knapp 22 Uhr Abends (manchmal geh ich auch schon um 21:30 ;-) ) im geschäft is oder geschäftlich unterwegst is.....
und selbst wenn ich zeit hätte fehlt mir immernoch das geld....
Und da passiert es dann halt doch mal dass ich nachts um 2 noch bisschen durch meine lieblingsforen surf...

Chewy hat irgendwo ma erwähnt dass die MAterialkosten knapp 5000 € (sollte ich mich täuschen so verzeiht mit bitte) betragem haben....
Und son sümmchen muss man auch ma über haben...
Neid, würd ich nicht sagen, Hochachtung auch net wirklich, eher Erstaunen wie man sein Zeit auch mehr oder weniger Sinnvoll verbringen kann....
Was ich damit meine, die Aquasphere in allen ehren, aber ich kann auch n PC innen alten schrank bauen, n zylinder der das ding auf macht, vorne n plätschernden wasserfall mit nem bullauge der in den schrank zeigt...
vieleicht noch ne schöne sps die das komplette ding steuert....
und schon...nein das sag ich lieber nicht....

es ist immer geschmackssache, was man von einem case hält und damit habe ich auch kein problem. deine argumente hingegen sprechen eher dafür, dass du dich in zukunft aus dem "selbstgebauten" raushalten solltest.
surf doch ein bissel bei medion, die haben auch nie zeit....
@benny : ist doch ok. hätte ich arbeitszeiten wie du, wär mir selbst mit der aquasphere langweilig geworden....
es ist immer geschmackssache, was man von einem case hält und damit habe ich auch kein problem. deine argumente hingegen sprechen eher dafür, dass du dich in zukunft aus dem "selbstgebauten" raushalten solltest.
