Ein sehr einfacher, ansehnlicher Jabber-Client mit deutschen Interface und Avataren, der zudem über Plugins erweiterbar ist u.v.m:

Auch nett: Hat ein Benutzer kein Avatarbild angegeben, versucht der Client, anhand der Resource eines auszuwählen. Hab ich bisher gesehen bei Miranda, Kopete und - ziemlich cool - Notebook.

"Quicktext is an extension to Mozilla Thunderbird. It adds a menu under the subject from which you easily can insert standard texts that you have defined. You can use it for signatures or templates and it both support HTML and Plain text. You can also have shortcuts for up to ten of your texts. Another great thing is variables that you can use. For example if you have [[TO=firstname]] in a text that is added, Quicktext automatical replaces that with the firstname of the person who you are mailing to."

xchm ist ein CHM (Microsoft Compressed HTML Help)-Betrachter für U-nixen. Damit kann ich dann auch endlich unter Ubuntu das Python-Helpfile wie unter Windows benutzen :)

Songbird ist eine sich in der Entwicklung befindende iTunes Alternative, die auf der Mozillaengine basiert. Eine erste Beta ist bereits erhältlich und lässt viel versprechen.

Workrave ist ein hübsches Tool für Windows und Linux, dass einen daran (mit einstellbarem Nachdruck) erinnert, regelmäßig Mikro- und Kaffeepausen einzulegen sowie Dehnübungen vorschlägt (vgl. Screenshots).

Ziel ist eine Prävention des RSI-Syndroms.

ZigVersion is a Version Control interface for Mac developers that works with Subversion servers. Instead of simply reproducing the command line concepts as a graphical interface, we looked at the typical workflows of professional programmers and designed an interface around them.

Ein OpenSource Product.
Foobar2000 ist ein Audioplayer erster Klasse den man seinen eigenen Wünschen mit Plugins und add-ons anpassen kann.
Zugegeben man muss sich erst reinlesen um das mit den Pluins, add-ons und dem stylen zu raffen.
