Same here. It was classified as a "Trojan" threat and the file was called "Win32/Vigorf.A".Aquasuite X.83 triggered a false positive severe virus threat five times on my PC this morning. Whatever it is, I have quarantined it anyway. I do not remember what the name of it is. Part of it was Vigor.... But, anyway I know it must be a false positive.

you have to disable the hardware monitoring (aquasuite > service)I have been using AIDA64 for years and it is still enabled. Doesn't make a difference. Also have HWinfo, doesn't make a difference. I want the aquasuite program to work.

When you disable Aquasuite's hardware monitoring, winring0 is not loaded at all and it doesn't trigger Windows Defender. That's why the current workaround is to use Aida or HWinfo for hardware monitoring. Aquasuite can access those. Thanks for ignoring my previous message.
Is there any plans to release a non-vulnerable version of Aquasuite? I'd like to use the full functionality of the software I paid for without having to bypass Windows Defender...

What SSDs do you have that HWINFO is not reporting drive temps for? I have a variety of drives, including Samsung NVME, Intel SSD, a Western Digital Black platter drive, and a Samsung NVME drive in a USB3.0 external carrier. HWINFO reports between 1 and 3 temps for all of them. Also, what backup software are you using that HWINFO is conflicting with?I installed HWInfo and AS sees that data - had to uninstall HWInfo as it caused system instability (blue screen) with my backup software. HWInfo also doesn't have SSD temperature info, which I use to control fan speed.
